The Chicalim Village Panchayat organised a Mhaje Ghar awareness camp on 17 July 2026 so residents could understand eligibility, applications and documentation under the State government’s housing scheme.
Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav joined Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho, Deputy Collector Pratap Rao Gaonkar, Comunidade representatives and department officials. During the camp, several applicants received Comunidade consent letters and legalisation-related documents, while dedicated counters accepted fresh applications and scrutinised pending cases.
